Toowoomba Grammar School boys are fortunate to be able to work with some very talented TGS Old Boys in this first term.  In Week 5, Tim Dashwood will be visiting the School to run physical theatre, stage combat, slapstick and farce workshops with both classes and TiGAA groups.  Tim is a very talented actor and stage combat director having worked professionally in theatre companies all around Australia as an actor, most recently directing the stage combat sequences for the Australian Ballet’s production of Spartacus.

Debating 8.1 & 8.3 Postponement

The following debates have been postponed. This means that they will not occur at the scheduled times below.  A new time and location will be provided by QDU in the coming weeks. This will be posted here and students and parents will be emailed these details as soon as we have them.

Cricket: Round 3 Wrap

Dear Cricket Community,


What a weekend! Our 1st XI had a convincing 60 run victory and we won a total of 12 out of 15 matches against Ipswich Grammar School. This is an extremely pleasing result and a great reward for all of the hard work we have put in over the past few months.

Volleyball: Tuesday night competition set to start 5, March.

The local Tuesday night Toowoomba Volleyball Association (TVA) competition is set to start on 5, March. Already we have had numbers to fill six teams. Games are played generally between 6:00 and 8:00pm of the evening with the season ending on 4, June.

Please email the Director of Volleyball, Eric Smith ( or ensure your son completes this Google Form.
