Sport Representative Pathways – Expression of Interest

Dear Parents,

It has come to our attention that email providers with addresses ending in bigpond.com/Bigond.net/Telstra.com have been sending our emails to their ‘spam’ folder due to the inclusion of a google form.
Whilst we sincerely apologise that some families may have missed out on seeing these emails in their ‘inbox’, this is a network issue where the email provider has either rejected or sent the email into a ‘spam’ folder.

As a result the Sport Representative Pathways Expression of Interest form was missed by a group of families. Trials such as Touch Football, Volleyball, Baseball, U19 Cricket, Softball and U19 Tennis have already closed with trials being performed in the first two weeks of School.

To ensure this issue does not reoccur, the TGS Sport & Activities Office will now discontinue using google forms for registrations and information collection and replace them with Microsoft forms. This should ensure families with Telstra based email providers do not miss out on any further TGS communications.

Please find attached the Sport Representative Pathways – Expression of Interest Form in the new format.

Should you have any questions, please contact the Sport & Activities Office.

Orienteering including OQ Weekly Bulletin – 5 February 2020

RROC EVENT INFORMATION USQ 2020

Gents

If orienteering is cancelled on Sunday due to thunderstorms (see below), I’ll email you Sunday morning and let you know.

Best wishes

Mrs Nottle

Dear Gents

It was so great to see many of you in Queens Park on Sunday – well done to Ollie, Gabe, Byron, Aidan, Eli, Cas, Flynn and Dann . Orienteering is fun, isn’t it? Also great to see Ollie at the workshop. As our most experienced orienteer, I would like Ollie to be our captain again this year. Are you okay with that, Ollie?

Our next event is at USQ on Sunday. I think the Year 7 boys may have an event on at school that they need to attend but other year levels, hope to see you there. I will be on the registration table so be sure to see me after your race so we can discuss your challenges and triumphs.

Details for USQ are online https://oq.orienteering.asn.au/events/9651  and below. If you can, register online through Eventor. Also below is this weeks bulletin from Orienteering Queensland. If you scroll down, there is information on the Night Nav Series that began on Tuesday evening. A few boys have been asking me about Night Nav. They are loads of fun but we do not allow anyone under 15 years to run night nav on their own. You would need a partner.
